IRVINE, Calif. USA – October 5, 2009 – A recently published administration document outlines a structure that could result in closures of sport fishing in salt and freshwater areas across America. The White House created an Interagency Oceans Policy Task Force in June and gave them only 90 days to develop a comprehensive federal policy for all U.S. coastal, ocean and Great Lakes ...

been getting out on a regular basis and doin well for the steel in erie streams and browns and steel in ontario streams while working around the kings. egg sacs seem to be producing extremely well but wen the fishing seems to slow down beads seem to be the only they will hit. been hearing that its been slow from a bunch of people but looking into holes there seems to be good numbers off steel in each hole just some are being extremely picky it seems. good luck and let the drags scream.

My wife and I are kinda new to the fishing world, and would like to know some good places to fish, that are handicap friendly, as my wife has a hard time walking, so we would like to find places that are easy to get near the water without to much trouble. We are from the Lockport area, so would like places to fish that are not to to far away.

Thank You,

Does anybody know any good summer (june-august) trout streams in Erie county? I'd like to get out more and fly-fish for wild or stocked rainbows and browns except the nearest spot that I know that is productive is the upper Cattauragus system (Hosmer brook etc.). Any suggestions would be a great help.

Ice fishin gills

I go to a local pond for ice fishing bluegills or any other fish species I can get my hands on. I rarely have luck and when I do, it's a very small bluegill. The fish species in the pond consist of bass, bluegill, and a smattering of perch. I generally use small ice fishing lures, which usually gets me no where. It would be great if anyone has any suggestions for catching any of these fish on the ice.

I really don't know about prizes, dates or trophies now...but my shop might or my company FatCustomRods could put up something if enough people turn up for it...check back for details. This is really about the site visitors getting to know each other, trade secrets, stories and techniques being shared to help each other...novice or expert. ...

i've been trying to tie the classic woolybugger. tying them is pretty easy. However making a collar i find is pretty difficult. Is it because of the hackle i am using? i'm using regular saddle but find it spare toward the end to make a collar. is there a perticular hackle that i need to use. Please someone help!
